This statue of a Jewish tailor in Midtown Manhattan's Fashion District recognizes the contribution that immigrants made -- and still make -- to New York's "rag trade." I pass it on the walk from Penn Station to work in Times Square.
A collection of amusing anecdotes, pictures and video, mainly from New York and New Jersey ...

My husband is a tailor working for a shop in Savile Row England. I would very much like a statuette of a tailor. Are there any of 'The Tailor' on Times Square?
